Erika Broadwater
SVP, Membership

Erika is the Co-Founder and Executive Director of Talent Management Team, with a client base of middle management and executives who are not offered traditional Outplacement Services upon corporate downsizing. In 2011, she was appointed the first Delaware Chapter President of NAAAHR. This is the first State-wide chapter in the first State, proudly recognized by the National Board as being 36th chapter in the organization. 
Erika has over 19 years in Human Resources, holding several roles with oversight in diversity recruitment, talent acquisition, talent management, HR laws (including OFCCP, AAP, and EEO), vendor management and contract negotiations, HR Systems (including ATS and HRIS systems), performance management and managing direct reports. She is a Strategic human capital leader, experienced in global talent acquisition, mobility, retention, and performance improvement; supporting all lines if business. With 13 years of leadership in the community, in the education systems, and service to non-profit organizations. Holding more than 9 professional certifications, including being a Certified Diversity Officer, Erika has applied each of them in classroom training and leadership development Throughout her career, she has traveled from New York to Virginia, speaking at local, regional and national conferences; sitting on panel discussions, symposiums, workshops, and delivering keynote addresses. 
Erika received her Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management from Cheyney University in Pennsylvania in 1991. While obtaining her degree, she was actively involved in the Young Business Professionals program, and completed two internships at IBM and JP Morgan. Erika has worked in the private and public sectors throughout her career for major Fortune 500 companies in Delaware and Pennsylvania. In 2014, she received recognition from the HR Leadership Team of DuPont for Talent Acquisition process improvements, strategic planning, and brand initiatives. Erika has managed teams of Interns, Recruiters, HR Business Partners, Consultants and Training Facilitators; as well as oversight of 12 Board of Directors, 3 Senior Board Advisors, and 7 Diversity Council Member. 


Among several awards and recognitions, Erika was nominated for the 2016 Ron Shane “Human Resources Lifetime Achievement” award, recipient of the 2016 NAAAHR National Conference “Most Represented Chapter” award, included in the 2010/2011 Global Directory of Who’s Who Among Professionals. She has also faithfully served the Women’s Ministry at The Resurrection Center since 1997, leading women-focused Bible Study lectures, women’s retreats, aerobics, and luncheons. Erika served on the Board of Red Lion Christian Academy’s Parent Teacher Fellowship (PTF) for 11 consecutive years, and held the office of President for two terms. 
Outside of business and community service, Erika enjoys reading, shopping, and spending time with her friends and family. Above all, Erika is a dedicated mother to her awesome children, Tre and Mayah, which she calls her Pride and Joy.
