Davine Bey

As Cornell’s director of talent acquisition and workforce retention, Davine oversees staff recruitment and retention for Cornell University. Davine serves as Cornell’s workforce recruitment subject matter expert and advisor to university leadership, deans, and central human resource partners. He designs quantifiable and sustainable strategies that support the attraction and retention of high performing talent to Cornell University.

An experienced strategist, Davine is tasked with leading the design of data driven recruitment and retention strategies. Under Davine’s leadership Cornell is transitioning from transactional-driven recruitment processes to a more agile and strategic proactive recruitment model.

As an entrepreneur, Davine co-founded Global i365 LLC, a boutique management consulting and search firm, and he successfully launched the Central New York Inclusion Conference in 2010. Throughout his career he has held leadership and consulting roles with world-class organizations such as Proskauer Rose LLP, Corning Inc., Cablevision, and American Red Cross.

Davine has facilitated workshops and is a frequent presenter at organizations and conferences throughout the U.S. including: The Johnnetta B. Cole Chief Diversity Officers Forum, Penn State University, Syracuse University’s Maxell School, Glassdoor’s Talent Warrior Roadshow, and The Smithsonian Museum.


Outside of work, Davine dedicates his time to family and several civic organizations. He currently serves on the Le Moyne College Alumni Board, enjoys reading anything related to disruptive technologies and global business. Davine received an undergraduate degree from Le Moyne College, and holds an MBA from Rochester Institute of Technology. Davine and his family currently resides in Syracuse, New York.
