Marguerite Malloy, General Counsel & Parliamentarian Marguerite Malloy is a public sector attorney and has served as Associate Counsel, and Acting Chief Counsel of the Alameda County Employees' Retirement Association (ACERA), a public pension fund. Ms. Malloy provides legal advice and assistance to the ACERA Board of Retirement, the agency’s governing body, and ACERA management staff. Her responsibilities include advice and counsel on all workplace matters including, but not limited to, workplace investigations and other employment matters.

Ms. Malloy’s prior experience includes approximately 7 years on solo legal practice representing unions, plaintiffs, and employers in employment and labor law matters. Ms. Malloy has authored articles, and is a regular speaker and presenter in various venues. Additionally, Ms. Malloy serves as Vice President of the City of Alameda’s Civil Service Board.
