Juna Pierre, President

Juna (pronounced “Gee-na”) Pierre is the President for the New England chapter of NAAAHR. Juna began her career in HR more than a decade ago in the financial services industry. In October 2018, Juna joined Raytheon leading employee relations and compliance efforts for the corporate team. Prior to that, Juna was the Director of Compliance and Title IX Coordinator for Boston Public Schools (BPS) in the Office of Equity.

Prior to BPS, Juna served as Diversity Officer at the Massachusetts Department of Public Health, where she conducted all internal discrimination investigations and responded to requests for disability and religious accommodations. Juna spent several years working in the defense industry for BAE Systems as an HR Business Partner supporting manufacturing facilities with 700+ employees. Juna’s background has primarily been in employee relations, performance management, and process improvement.

In 2017, Juna completed a mediation training program offered by the Community Dispute Settlement Center (CDSC) in Cambridge, MA. Since completing her training, Juna has meditated and co-mediated several employee disputes.

Juna has a B.A. from Framingham State University in Framingham, MA, and an M.S. in Human Resources Management from Emmanuel College in Boston, MA.
