National Association of African Americans in Human Resources (NAAAHR) and the Howard University School of Business Form Strategic Partnership

NAAAHR Global Human Resources Leadership Institute

June 11 - 15, 2018

WASHINGTON, D.C.  – The National Association of African Americans in Human Resources (NAAAHR) and the Howard University School of Business would like to announce the launch of their exciting new NAAAHR Global Human Resources Leadership Institute.  This preeminent HR forum will prepare senior and emerging HR executives to lead today’s strategic and increasingly global HR operations.

 

According to Nathaniel “Nat” Alston an original founder, and the Chairman of the National NAAAHR Board, “The formulation of our Global HR Leadership Institute with the Howard School of Business moves our organization, and its mission to provide a global forum supporting the development of Black and African American HR professionals to the next level.  To see the Institute become a reality under the umbrella of a great institution such as Howard University, I am eternally grateful.”

 

The Institute’s comprehensive curriculum will include the study of The Changing Role of HR Management and Its Impact on Black Leaders, Linking HR Strategy to Business Strategy, Managing Global Recruitment Operations, Leading High Impact Diversity and Inclusion Initiatives, Effective Strategies in Campus Recruitment, Measuring Impact Through Data Analytics, Coaching Business Leaders, an Executive HR Business Case Competition and more.

 

Kim R. Wells, the Executive Director of Executive Education at the Howard University School of Business shared, “We are honored to collaborate with NAAAHR in this historic HR leadership initiative. We believe the intersection of our world-class Business School culture, faculty, and executive instructors, when combined with the knowledge and membership of the NAAAHR will be nothing short of a historic turning point in the professional advancement and strategic impact of Black Human Resources leaders.”
